Review content:
I went to a reggae show last night (Thursday) that was said to start at 9pm (doors at 8) per the Hard Rock website. My friends and I showed up at 9:30pm thinking we would walk in and the opening band would be playing. We walked into a poorly set up small room that was playing the loud rock music that the restaurant was playing (NOT the atmosphere we were expecting - COMPLETE BUZZKILL). This played until a little after 10pm when a horrific band came on (again BUZZKILL)... This band was so bad that my friends and I HAD to leave so we left and ate something while we waited for the real entertainment in which we paid for. Then at 11pm we went back to the room and the band was finally on - playing without the lead (Gregory Isaacs)! But at least it was the type of music we came for (1 1/2 hours later!!!). The entertainer, Gregory Isaacs, finally came on at 11:30pm - but the room was set up soooo horribly we couldn't even see him. Not to mention that the ceiling lights were way too bright and I felt like I was under a spot light. All in all this was the WORST concert ever -we ended up leaving at midnight - this was all thanks to the crappy vibe at the Hard Rock venue - the entertainer was amazing and would have been better suited for a real concert venue or the Paradise! I will NEVER EVER see another show here... EVER!\r
