Ok, so I needed to have a LOT of work done in my damaged house.. (ducts, a/c, and furnace) 2 years ago I had to replace my A/C unit due to shotty work, and I refuse to do it again. I did my research, and found that these places are NOT all the same. I also learned that in this day and age, the only real way to save money is to get a company that can TOTALLY SEAL your house and ducts so it doesn't use so much energy to heat and cool it. There are NO requirements so most companies in Georgia DON'T do this. Many of them try to hook you with a low ball estimate, and do crumby work that will cost you so much more every single month. Cool Max uses a scientific approach, and is the only one that sincerely stressed efficiency and took the time to really explain things to me. Not only did they offer me high efficiency units, (like one of the others did) but they set me up with slightly smaller units that saved me money and heat/ cool the house MUCH better than what I had. They also gave me a home energy audit, and showed me that I can cut a lot off my bill by adding a ""radiant barrier"" to my attic, and by sealing the ducts to California standards rather than leaking all my heat and A/C into the attic. (where most of our money goes and we have no idea why the bill is so high) They also figured out how to heat and cool the house faster as well as make my upstairs the same temperature as downstairs ALL THE TIME!! I believe that they are the only company in the Sugar Hill / Suwanee area that has the scientific equipment, and staff knowledgeable enough to do this.\r
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the customer service is as good as it gets. Joey is a true perfectionist. He gave me his 24 hour number (just in case) and made sure that I am happy with all. I couldn't be happier with my choice.
