If you want to escape New York City and ""feel"" like you're at a tiki bar on a warm island in the Carribean, I strongly recommend Tropical 128. I went here this passed week-end and I was pleasantly surprised at how different the decor was ... in a good way. It almost felt like I was in a rainforest. :) The place wasn't crowded when we arrived but I'm assuming that's because it was only about 7 pm on a Saturday night. However, it was a great experience. I had the ""Coconut Mania"" drink and it was delicious and the bartender/waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We had a nice time. Oh, for those of you who like to shoot pool, they also have pool tables in the back. :)
