A few years ago I ordered expensive mother's day flowers delivered to my stepmother in Las Vegas through 1-800 flowers. What she got was a limp arrangement of a half-dead lily and a few waning filler flowers in an oversized cheap glass vase, delivered late, no less. What I got was *absolutely* no attention, consideration, apology, return credit, return call, etc. from the 800 flowers co. This year I ordered a reasonably priced large plant from the Rose Shack to be delivered to my stepmother on mother's day, with instructions to call me early if there were any anticipated delivery problems. What I got was the early call I requested from Corey, Corey's attentive help picking a good plant for delivery with no ""upcharge"" attempt, and Corey's promise of on-time delivery. What my stepmother got was quick delivery of a 4' healthy plant she liked so much that she referred to it as ""the newest member of our family."" I have to say that it's care and service like this on the part of a business that chips away at my cyncism about modern American life. So I guess I got a great plant delivery, and a bit more. And that spurred me to make the effort to write this review. Thanks, Rose Shack!
