The WORST vet I have ever been too!! EVER! Dr. McHale better hope he is actually licensed bc I am going to research and find out if he is and if not, he is going to be closed down. He is SO bad that I am actually not sure if he is a fraud. His ""vet techs"" are hourly girls who have a side job. NONE of them are actual vet techs. The place is SO dirty! if you ever go there, look around behind the reception area and decide if YOU would want to be seen there. It smells, its dirty and he is horrible. His prices are low and I guess you get what you pay for but NEVER again. I work for a rescue group and I have taken 4 cats there. One came back covered in his our poop and pee, Disgusting! I bathed him right away. The second was a small kitten who 'didn't make it' although the ""doctor"" said he tried, I have to wonder now. The third, I was charged for x-rays bc the cat sneezed. A BS $80 charge in my opinion but whatever, money isn't the issue. She too would have probably been covered in her own pee if I hadn't picked her up so quickly after surgery. The 4th, this the the best one, escaped the carrier bc they didn't close it! He struggled so bad to get out of the carrier that he was bleeding from his back from a puncture wound, but the vet didn't care about that. HE, the professional, blamed me, that the cat got out on their watch! Blamed me for the carrier bc THEY didn't shut it all the way. He threw the poor cat around to get him back in the carrier and hurt him again. The man is a terrible vet and I will NEVER go back. If anyone cares about their pet they should NOT bring them here. Yes he is cheaper than other vets but he is a mess and a bad doctor and the place is filthy. Do not take your pets here - if you do, you are making a mistake. After he lost my cat, he never ONCE offered an apology or any level of concern. He was angry at ME for the cat getting out and hurt the cat in the process of getting him back in the carrier. The poor cat just had surgery, they didn't feed him after so he was without food & water for 2 days, and was completely terrified and the ""doctor"" had NO concern for the cat. Even after he slammed him into the cage, he didn't apologize or care to check the cat to see if he was okay for not only the return to the cage but from the escape and from being lost around the disgusting office. My cat bleed all the way home. A horrible man and a horrible vet - NEVER again!!! My friend brought her cat to him to be fixed and it died from an infection it got at that hospital. She was heartbroken. I wish I knew this prior to my visit but I found out when we were sharing stories. I gave him several chances on another friend's referral but I will NEVER go back there, not if he was the last vet on earth!!
