I have to tell you that when I moved here from the Midwest 10 years ago I wasn't into the notion of shopping anywhere but Ralphs for everything on my grocery list - what a fool I was. I discovered this chain of supermarkets about 4 years ago, and ever since they've been my pick for ultra fresh meat, things I can't get at a standard market, and super cheap - awesome produce!\r

Admittedly some locations are better/cleaner/larger than others, but this particular store is the best one I've seen in my area. The best time to go is always early morning when all the produce has just been put out, and everything is stocked - mid day when the produce has been hanging out all day isn't great. They also have a hot deli with yummy offering like carnitas, and tacos, and whole roasted chickens, a juice bar that serves up any fresh juice from anything in the produce dept. along with a selection of horchata, tamarid, and watermelon juice drinks. The meat selection and freshness is second to none, and the butchers are friendly and willing do season your meat carne asada or cook your fish for you. \r

Sometimes taking a risk on a new market can freak you out; but I swear this one is worth it!
Pros: Fresh Produce, Fresh Meats, Friendly Cashiers, Clean Store, Well Stocked
Cons: Can get croweded at the end of the day
