Review content:
Entering the BoomTown Casino in Harvey, LA was an experience close to that of entering Walt Disney World in Kisseme, Fl. My wife and I enjoyed a great time of pleasure there. Friendly personnel greeted us as we entered and directed us very courteously to wherever we wanted to go. Being the first time there we needed help with directions. The Buffet was very reasonably priced and the food was unsurpassed in quality, quantity, and taste. Everything was fresh and superb. There were many slot machines at which we enjoyed ourselves playing. The cocktail waitresses were very courteous and the drinks were not watered down. We passed seven happy hours there before we knew it. The only drawback was that people were allowed to smoke in the building. There were no seperate sections for smokers and non-smokers. I thought that it was against the law to smoke inside public buildings, whether it be a lounge, casino or business. We don't smoke and all our clothes were so full of the stinking odor from cigarettes that we had to take them off and wash them as soon as we got home. But we look forward to going back again to BoomTown Casino. Pros: Superb dining, service, gaming and welcoming Cons: Allowing patrons to smoke
