We have went out with friends for work who apparently like the place, so we went along...tried to relax after hard nine hour shift, and a couple of six day weeks. Service was somewhere between non-interested, to surly, but the food was going to make up according to our friends. After a while the food came, and almost made up for the crappy level of service, but not quite as it just wasn't that good. When the check came it was surprisingly high, and they screwed up separating it. They tried to charge me mandatory 15% charge/tip for a large part...we had four adults, one five year old, and one nine month old...only the adults ate...to me that is a party of four. They charged me for the whole party, and not just our part of it. After a while at the register they just overcharged us for our part. We were giving them a chance on the suggestion of friends, but obviously they do not want more regular customers in this recession. They succeed at that. We will not be back. An apology and a refund might make me give them another try, but outside of that we will not be repeating our mistake of going there. Getting scammed once is quite enough, and I will be quite happy to take my money elsewhere as Tucson has plenty of decently priced Italian places, so no need to be ripped off here. I would give this place, and it's a-hole style management zero stars, but CitySearch requires I give at least one, which is only reason they get one. Pros: Food was OK...had better, but it was OK. Cons: Crappy, surly, disinterested, slow service, and overcharge .
