Review content:
Who rates these places, people who think Budweiser is the greatest beer in the world and who refer to their dinner as vittles? Charley's steaks taste more like bacon than beef (it's the wood they use -- it taints the beef with a wood flavor). If you'd like to know what steak is supposed to taste like, try a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, or come to New York and eat at Peter Luger. Those are steakhouses.
As far as ambiance and service are concerned, there is none -- unless you're comparing it to Denny's.
If you eat in fine restaurants even when it's not a special occasion like your 25th anniversary, don't waste your time or your money at Charley's.
Oh, and don't forget to bring along a chain saw to cut your bread.
Cons: Flavored steak, Horrible bread, Mediocre atmosphere
