Review content:
Gives you,the customer, a lousy deal. I purchased an item for $3.00 an offered to pay using my ATM card. The man refused saying the store policy was that under ten dollars,no purchases can be made using credit cards. I had to go to Kmart next door, purchase an item there and get cash back so that I could come back and purchase the item. I told the man behind the counter how absurd the whole thing looked to an American consumer and told him that their business practice was not only inconvenient but unacceptable, a policy that is prevalent in a third world country like India but not here. Few days later on I went to the India Emporium which has an Indian cafe attached. I asked them what their policy was and the owner informed me that they WOULD accept cards for any amount of purchase. So My advice don't support N.India Sweet & Spices . INSTEAD GO TO THE SWEET SHOP ATTACHED TO WHAT WAS ONCE INDIA EMPORIUM about two blocks from there on Golden Springs... Courteous people , excellent service and deals that offer something for the customers like conventional American businesses and not a Thirld World Service.
