We worked with Lauren, who seemed very nice over the phone. She quoted us a price based on our inventory, as they did not have anyone close enough to come see our actual items that were being moved from Phoenix to Georgia. Lauren gave us a guaranteed price and delivery date (5-7 days after pick up...listed on our contract). The driver and staff who picked up our belongings (""Big Al"" and crew) seemed very nice and knowledgable. However, we were never told that our items would not actually be driven by Big Al, nor were we told that they would be transferred onto another truck. The items arrived 13 (yes 13) days late and many pieces were broken (some even missing, such as a bed frame). Additionally, the owner told us we would owe almost an additional 2000 dollars since the items weighed more than expected. Although we were able to fight this, there was nothing we could do about the items arriving late or being damaged. Big Al's crew also mistakenly labeled a washer and dryer and cedar chest at pick-up, resulting in them being delivered to the wrong location. Although we were told that New Planet would have the next truck stop to pick up the items and deliver to the appropriate location, it has now been 6 MONTHS and nothing! At one point the owner of the company actually hung up on me while I was checking on the status of my delivery. From then on, he refused to take my calls, leaving us to wonder about whether we would ever see our items again until they actually showed up. My biggest mistake EVER was using this unprofressional company. Please save yourself the anxiety and stress of using New Planet!!!!!\r
