Review content:
This was a horrible experience for my cat and I. I will never go back to Dove Lewis and do not recommend them to anyone. I took my kitty here after a Saturday morning trip to my normal vet didn't produce answers and my cat seemed to get worse. Dove Lewis suggested I bring him in based on the symptoms I gave (They told me is was likely a blockage). I waited over 2 hours before hearing anything about the status of my cat. Then I was called into a room--essentially they didn't know what was going on. The doctor suggested a pain injection and pain meds. And a course of antibiotics in case of a UTI. Fine. I then waited another hour for them to prep my kitty and pay. The bill was $205. I should also insert here, my kitty is very DIFFICULT during an exam---which the doctor should have easily seen. What do they give me for meds? Oral syringes! I told them there was NO WAY I would get my cat to take any of that---even put on his food he wouldn't eat. Another 20 minutes later they finally changed the meds to pills.......and oh, surprisingly it was $38 dollars cheaper. This place does not care about pets OR people. They're interested in profit, and have horrible service. I will NEVER go here again.
Cons: High Fees, Long Waits, Zero Answers
