Review content:
Our coonhound was suffering from lower back problems and was in a lot of pain. On a late Sunday night we googled area animal hospitals and settled on Dove Lewis because it was close to where we live. When we walked in we were greeted by the front desk. They quickly called in an assistant to find out the seriousness of our pup.
He was able to walk in the clinic and wasn't bleeding, so we did have to wait. While waiting several other animals came in; a dog that ate snail bait, a nest of birds that fell, a stray kitty. Every animal that walked in was quickly checked to see how serious each situation was. Of course snail bait dog went before us, and I am glad they did. I couldn't image the stress the snail bait pooch's parents were feeling!
The vet discussed every option we had and the pricing of each (I am a recent college grad=broke). I felt like I was in control of my pet's care. Everything was fully explained and how I should follow up with my veterinarian was explained as well.
The facility is clean, welcoming and state of the art. This place is much better than any human emergency room I have visited. Their service, staff and facility is top notch.
THANK YOU DOVE LEWIS!
Pros: Great NW location, 24/7 & 365
Cons: Long wait (remember, it IS an emergency room)
