Upon first entering this brightly colored bar/restaurant you will immediately be taken back by all of the Mexican decor and fun/festive vibe. The Mexican restaurant reminds me more of something you would find in Cancun on your spring break vacation but without having to leave the DMV or breaking your budget you an enjoy some great Mexican food and drinks right in Northern Virginia.
Just a block from the Clarendon metro Mexicali Blues offers great margaritas, excellent quesidillas, and amazing queso. Mexicali Blues is a great place to spend Cinco de Mayo or right after work for happy hour.
Pros: Bright Colors, Great food at a great cost
