Review content:
This was my first experience at Casalinga's and it was wonderful. I enjoyed linguini with shrimp, clams, calamari, mussels, and scungeli, it was delicious, generous portion , could have used a little more sauce. The pasta was done perfectly. The breads were cripsy and great for dipping, The tossed salad was fresh and plentiful. I would say the prices were reasonable considering the portion sizes and qualityof the food. One of my favorite things though was the music!! It was the music I grew up iwith in an Italain family. Although deceased I could hear my Dad singing along with Dean Martin and I with Connie Francis, I had not heard Ol sol a mio in years but It brought memories of the big wind up victrola in our basement where we would play all the Italain music on Sunday afternoons while pot of sauce simmered on the stove. My only complaint was I found it to be a bit too dark inside which made it difficult for me ot read the menu. Our waiter was wonderful. He was attentive but not overly so! A wonderful time was had by all !!Between good food, the wonderful music and my two friends it was a perfect evening!!
