i was stuck in athens for a few months and didnt have the time to visit my regular hairstylist in columbus. a few of my friends recomended Attractions. i told the stylist how i wanted my hair cut she didnt seem to understand at first ( was asking for a simple men's haircut btw), after a few minutes of talking about it she started cuting my hair, she did not shampoo my hair before the haircut. as i was looking in the mirror while she was cutting everything looked fine, at the end of the haircut she did not shampoo my hair again and put some product in my hair that had a very very strong berry aroma, as she did this she said ' mmmm that smells good...dont know what that is but something smells good' i was very surprised to hear her say she didnt know what that smell was suggesting to me she doesnt always use that product, and i gotta say that whatever that product was it was not for men and smelled very cheap. the haircut cost $18, seemed like a good deal since the salon looked kinda hi-end. When i got home and looked in the mirror closely i realized that there were several spots that were cut unevenly some spots she cut off way more on one side then on other so the whole haircut looked very uneven, and unprofessional. if i would have got this same haircut at a barber school it would have cost me half the price and might have looked better, deffinetly at least as good. All in all i would not recomend anyone go to this salon, i dont know if all salons in athens are this bad but i know theres some really good ones in columbus so it might be worth the drive if you dont wanna bad hair-do.
