Review content:
I gave the Grape an outstanding review about a month ago. Loved it then. But, recently stopped by with some friends from out of town and were we completely disappointed. We unfortunately weren't ready for the wine and wanted coffee's. This must have distressed the waitress and the manager as service was non existent the rest of the time there. When it did please Ms Fullofherself, to take our order and much later delivery our food, we still awaited the basics like forks, knifes and spoons. Still we endured as we and our friends were trying to chat at the table outside. This too proved difficult. I can only imagine that the owners son got an amp and guitar for Christmas because the guy inside that was in theory there to entertain the guest could not sing but he could be loud. Most of the guest inside were driven outside, and it was so loud we could barely hear our own discussion. Again the 'entertainer' was inside, we were outside. I gave up on the Grape when I had asked the manager if he could turn down the volume a bit and he grumbled something and shuffled away. I didn't mean to hurt his feelings. I guess I forgot I'm just a customer.
Pros: Service, food, value
Cons: Inside seating minimal.
