SubRosa is a super sweet restaurant, very fitting for it's corner of SE PDX. The food is a little costly but good homestyle Italian, much like my grandma used to make! It is worth going just for the desserts, however. They are amazing! We split a chocolate cake and the yummiest little cookies I have every had. Good coffee, good dessert, great atmosphere! Not sure who does the baking, but they should be recognized in the top tier of Portland bakers!
Pros: Ambience, great neighborhood restaurant, dessert!
