Off the beaten track, but accessible by Cable Car, a quiet corner of romance, charm and excellent cuisine awaits discovery. The escargot was the best I've ever had and the foie gras melted into the top of my filet mignon was magnificent. My favorite dish so far is the veal cheeks but I still haven't explored the whole menu. The service is perfection and someone who really knows their stuff put together the wine list. Even the moderately priced by-the-glass selections are superb. The value for the dollar here can't be beat.
