Businiess name:  Meg Kane Pt
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Meg was listed on the Hellerwork (HW) website, so I went to her for HW treatment.. At the first (and only) appt she didn't do what I consider to be a HW evaluation - she did a PT evaluation instead. She gave me poor copies of PT exercises (not HW), billed me for PT, not HW, accepted an insurance payment for PT, not HW. I confronted Meg about what she did with me and what she had done with her billing, letting her know what I thought. She was inflexible, and told me that billing HW as PT was the only way to get it covered by insurance. It is interesting to note that she also included HW on her business card, so it is clear to me that she publically represented herself as a HW practitioner. I think that she made a gross misrepresentation to me. Could it also be considered insurance fraud? It would be interesting to get a legal answer. At best, I distrust her, and would not recommend her.
