The coordinators ARE NOT COORDINATED WHATSOEVER. THEY ALWAYS CLAIM THEY HAVE CASES WHEN IN FACT THEY DON'T! ***AMAZING HOME CARE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO HOLD YOUR CERTIFICATE WHICH HAS BEEN STATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH! Always keep notes of everything you do! Amazing have cases but there is NO UNION, NO HEALTH BENEFITS and etc.... If you apply for a job at any Amazing Home Care locations please keep in mind ... 1) You must provide 3 VALID character references from previous employers with ACTIVE PHONE NUMBERS! 2) Background check - They do an extensive check on your criminal history so if you have a open case save your time the trouble and headache 3) Finger printing - $100.00+ fee will be deducted for fingerprinting out of your 1st paycheck. They make sure you don't have any warrants out there hanging. If you know your got a warrant don't bother! 4) Physical - You have the option to use their doctors(a $100.00+ fee will be deducted from your 1st paycheck or you can use your personal physician which is BEST RECOMMENDED 5) Training Classes - aprox. 2-3 weeks 6) Clinical - 1 day of applying what you've learned in the training classes. You will be sent to a location to show what you've learned! and last but not least 7) Orientation - which is 8 hours long. And you have to pass another exam. The classes are free. The hands on training is very good. *Note: When you sign those papers when you first fill out for a job with AHC you are agreeing to STAY with AHC for 6 Months. If you want to leave before your 6 months you have to pay a $500.00 fee to break the contract you signed so they can release your certificate to you! Regular Pay rate is $7.25 Overtime pay is $10.88 Also the first 40 or 48 hours you work belongs to AHC... again you don't get paid for the first 40. They don't give u a pay stub stating that they took out their 40 hours either. Is company needs to be investigated! They take that money out of your check to pay for the new Amazing Home Care Sign-ups. Other agencies give you your first paycheck and your certificate upfront with no fees! I highly DON'T recommend AHC!
