I adore this store!! I discovered it from a co-worker who is also a makeup artist. I do all kinds of makeup, from runway to editorial to weddings, and New London always has what I need, be it Bioderma or Elnett or Blue Drops or any other impossible to find can't live without products. Whats even better is if they don't have it they will get it for you somehow someway. I have requsted the craziest things and they always can get them for me! The customer service in this place is better than anywhere I have ever been. Abby the owner is a genius at finding the best products from all over and putting them in this convenient no-attitude boutique. The sales staff is really knowlegeable, and by the 2nd or 3rd time I came in they remembered my name. Wow. I once was going to by a really expensive electric razor there and one of the guys talked me in to buying a cheaper and much better razor-where else does that happen? After I do all my 'business' shopping, I love to browse the gorgeous candles and gifts-it's way better than Bendels or Berdorf, and with zero attitude. The fragrance selection is sick! One guy helped me for 45 minutes to find the perfect scent-it was like having a friend as a personal shopper. After a few months of shopping for beauty, I switched my prescriptions over to New London, and I have never made a better decision. Abby and the nutrionist there have helped me manage my high cholesteral, without the use of a single precription! I cannot say enough about New London. I have turned on all my friends and colleagues to this place and they love it as much as I do. I know I must sound like a cheerleader or something but if you go there you will know exactly what I mean. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Pros: great atmosphere, great people watching, always good music playing!
Cons: sometimes you just want to go in for 5 minutes-impossible! too much to see.
