Review content:
A very casual restaurant in all respects of service and decor. After guided to our table no menus were presented so my friend and I looked at the placemats and saw many listings but no info on the so-called Sunday Brunch (which was advertised in a local newspaper). No wait staff materialized for 10 minutes so I asked a a busboy about the Brunch offerings: he looked confused, pointed vaguely to a chalk board and then disappeared. There only 3 options on the Brunch menu and none of them involved egg related dishes. My friend and I opted for lobster rolls which were bland but edible. An adequate spot and not much more. Looks like a good cross-section of the neighborhood both North & South of 96th Street eats here. Overall, looks and feels like a mediocre City Island restaurant on upper-upper Madison Avenue.
Pros: Casual, service won't rush you out the door.
Cons: Too casual service and limited Brunch options.
