well...ace spends a great deal of time claiming they are the ""speciality"" hardware store that offer personal service and knowledgeable staff...that may be so, but not here...yes, they have a fair amount of speciality stuff but regular stuff is dismal...i have been there three times looking for something and ended up at home depot where i found it..and it is stuff they shud have had...copper pipe reducer, plumbing hoses, screws...i just took them a screen to redo, in metal. the first job took a week and was terrible, loose, the rubber retainer wasn't secure in a bunch of places. took it back, second time was ok, but not nearly as good a my regular, expensive shop. plus, they told me they didn't do on site, then the second time said they do but screener is only in on weds...and, kinda copped an attitude when i wanted it resdone (really, it was bad job, i'm not that picky)...so, am done shopping there...will stick to the big box...sorry ace...
