She quoted our price at $9000. When asked what that came down to per square foot, she said she didn't know. What??? No discussions of carpet brands, laminate brands i.e, why the price was so high. Was this a really high quality product? What kinds of carpet pads are available? Nothing. They come in with a few samples and you pick your favorite colors. I suppose this would be great for someone with a lot of money and absolutely no common sense. I ended up buying the laminate at Costco, putting it in myself (it's not hard) and having Home Depot do the carpet. It ended up costing me less than half of Express' quote.\r The salesgirl even asked what it would take for me to buy today. What is this, a used car lot? Pros: salesgirls with cleavage Cons: price, sales pitch
