Businiess name:  Coast Dental

Review content:
You have to wait 20 minutes or more, even if you are the first appointment of the day. The hygienist immediately asks what toothbrush you use, and if it's not their sonic brand, you get subjected to a forceful sales pitch and a lecture about the horrors of periodontal disease. All this before the hygienist even looks in your mouth! If you have any silver fillings, those teeth all must be capped because of ""bacteria"" and a host of other horrors. They all speak in a loud voice so everyone (including other patients) hear your private business. While I was there, I heard the dental assistant pressuring a patient to have excessive dental work and the patient was crying that she lost her job, and only has enough money to feed her kids. That didn't stop the assistant from pouring on the guilt and the shame of ""dental neglect."" Coast Dental is a large corporation and the dentist is an independent contractor. They are not in the business of caring for your dental health, their only focus is their financial bottom line. Pros: They don't care about your health, just your wallet! Cons: Find another dentist!
