Review content:
Sometimes, as with French and Thai, fusion just works and Sushi Samba is no exception. The flash-fried Japanese river crabs were amazing; the fried red snapper with the coconut rice - terrific. And the tenderloin with morels and plantains in the balsamic reduction unbelieveable seriously one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. When I asked our waiter for a sample of the Chorizo, I was offered a small sample, free of charge (and it was terrific, btw). I think the one in NYC has marginally better food, but the service is not nearly as friendly. The added benefit of Miamis edition is you can casually stroll out onto Lincoln Road in Manhattan, you get to walk into 7th Avenue with its traffic and NJ tunnel overspill. I think the lesser reviews here are more exception than rule definitely go if you havent been.
Pros: Fusion, well-done, Fresh sushi, Slick presentation
Cons: Bring the platinum, Underwhelming dessert
