I was in the wholesale glass business around San Jose for 30 years. In that period, I had access to virtually every glass shop in the area, and Capitol Glass Works always stood out to me. I eventually started taking my personal stuff to them, and I've been consistently pleased.
It's hard to find people who will work on older cars, but Capitol Glass will always rise to the occasion. Stepping into their shop is like going to a car show, with all the classic vehicles they work on. I have had them redo the glass in three different vintage cars I own, and the results have been excellent.
I'm very vocal about my high esteem for Capitol Glass, and recommend them all the time. They have earned their great reputation, and it's nice doing business with a family-run company. They are fair and take good care of you, so I've enjoyed my interactions with them. Working with Capitol Glass has always been a win win situation for me.
