I'd really love to give a great recommendation to L Street Storage. For 10 years, we kept our furnishings stored there while we lived in the Virgin Islands. Chris, the manager, was always attentive to our questions regarding our stored items and was helpful the few times we had questions regarding billing issues.\r

We moved back to the mainland recently and commissioned a local moving firm to move our items from Omaha to our new home in New Mexico. When the items arrived, many of our boxes were drenched with water that had been in those boxes for years. Mold and mildew ruined our keepsakes including pictures that I had acquired over many years in the entertainment business. When I called Chris to ask what I might do to discuss the issue, I was told that the owner wishes to maintain a low profile and Chris couldn't reveal his name. I was told that I stored my items at my own risk and that there were no assurances that they wouldn't get wet!\r

I would never offer a positive review of a firm backed by an owner who wouldn't reveal his identity nor discuss issues regarding legitimate complaints. \r
\r
10 years, more than $12,000 in fees, and precious keepsakes, all down the drain with no recourse. This firm gets 1 star - 1 too many!\r
