I have spent thousands getting my car repaired over the last two years. I went to pep boys in Aug of 09 because the car was dieing while I was driving and first I was told that it was the battery, had that changed, then I was told it was the alternator, had that done, then I was told it was the electrical in the steering column, had that done....so in feb of 10 I had had enough and I took it to the pepboys in corona the car still had the problem and then i was told it was three other things. had those fixed, still had problem continued. finally i was told it was the starter, they fixed that on their dime. While I had it there I also had them to look at the steering pump as it was squealing when I turned. I had no problems turning just the noise. They told me it was the power steering pump so I agreed to have it fixed.. they also suggested that I have the serpatine belt replaced since they would be working in that area that I wouldn't be charged additional labor they also said that I needed another part replaced (can't remember the name) and I did that as well. It cost me $700+ in addition to the $900+ I already had paid. A couple days later I returned because I was unable to steer the car at all. the replaced the pump after having the car for nearly 2 days. Since then they have replaced the pump 4x and the serpatine belt has fallen off while I am driving 9x. Every time I bring it back they give me a different reason for this happening and now they are saying that it is possibly something else..... lastly I still have a problem steering and they are now saying that it is my rack and pinion. I am very angry..... I am so tired of this. I have 6 kids and need my van. I have had a lot of medical issues and surgeries this year and need my car to get to doctor appointments. I have also been told that because there has been so much towing that my axel on my car is going out. I know I have an old car but this is ridiculous!!! I feel like I have been taken advantage of! Please help I need my car reliable again! Please never get your car repaired here! Oh and if you make them mad they will talk about what a BIT&& you are in the garage.
