I have been living here about 14 years, and when I had been in my house for about 3 years the light bulb in my ceiling wouldn't unscrew. I called Pann Home Services, and they charged me $100. That was back in 1999. A few years later it happened again, and again it was $100. Because I have been a long time customer, and they were only here for about 5 minutes, I felt that it was not very good customer relations.
They have done a lot of work for me over the years, and I continue to keep them as my home services company. They installed a new water heater for me and a new dryer vent. I find their work to be safe. They installed a toilet and did a good job, and my water heater is still working fine. Also, the disposal in the sink works fine. Their work is good, but the amount of money seems a lot.
Also, even though we had their peace of mind service, where we pay a monthly fee, they didn't come on New Years day when we had an emergency. The upstairs neighbor's baseboard froze and sprang a leak. It was pouring down our living room ceiling, and Pann Home Services wouldn't come until the next day. I only wanted them to figure out how to turn off the water.
I will continue to use them, though I had to discontinue the peace of mind monthly contract, when I need things done. The work is good and reliable, but I think it is a lot of money.
