Sitting down, you are comforted with a nice mom-and-pop feel, low Greek music in the background, and a nice smile at the door (once they realized we were there after 5 minutes of being ignored). The menu was diverse, easy-to-read, and was very promising. Upon ordering, it took 45 minutes to receive our appetizers with only a ""It will be a bit longer"" from the waitress. Eventually, the appetizers came, with no explanation of the cavern of time between ordering and receiving so much as a glass of water. Our entrees were to take even longer, so we asked for some more bread from the waitress, who trotted off to the kitchen to retrieve our yeast feast. Upon emerging from the kitchen with a basket of fresh bread (very tasty, homemade) she offered it to a triple-seated table directly next to us--who refused the loaf. Upon refusing, she relinquished the bread to our table. That's right...she offered the bread we asked for to another table first. Promptly inhaling our appetizers, we waited another 25 minutes for the entrees, with no word from the restaurant staff as to why we were waiting so long. The entrees were delicious, overall. However, the cook failed to time the meal, and one chicken dish was obviously left under heat lamps for a long time, and was embarrassingly dry and rubbery. However, the other entrees were simply delicious, served with great presentation and flavor. After completing the meal, we asked for our check...the waitress disappeared...we waited another 20 minutes for our check, which was promptly settled by a crabby old woman who didn't make any effort to exercise a glimpse of customer service prowess.\r \r All in all...the food was good, the appetizers were unique, but the service was atrocious. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night? Perhaps not.... Pros: Food was great! Cons: Service was slow, and neglectful.
