I never had my hair done in NYC, for fear of outrageous prices. I was desperate to do something new with my hair though, and with an important business occasion looming, I had to get it done ASAP. After several suggestions to sign up to be a hair model, I searched Craigslist & found Mingle. I was able to get an appointment for the exact day I wanted it. I was offered water immediately upon arrival, which was appreciated. Sheila was my stylist, and she was great! She did everything I asked, and she helped me decide what to do with her suggestions. I am so happy I found this salon--I will definitely be back! I HIGHLY recommend it--it's in a great area, and the prices are definitely reasonable. As a hair model, I was able to get a full dye & cut for only $30! I have honestly received constant compliments on my hair ever since. This is my new salon.
