Review content:
As a new client going in for a consultation, I would think that the staff would be more welcoming. But perhaps, I didn't ""fit in"" with the other clientele...I was on time for my appt, but sat waiting to be acknowledged for about 15-20 minutes. When the stylist, Ty Holbrook finally appeared, he made me feel as if I was inconveniencing him. He was clearly with another client and interrupted her services to give me a consultation. He's rec'd a lot of press coverage, which is why I made the appt, but clearly his expertise does not include service. He rushed through, and when I asked him a few questions, he kept plugging his upcoming 'Today Show' appearance instead of addressing my concerns. I never made the appt...I don't care how great you are supposed to be, you should treat your clients (potential and existing) with respect. Maybe it was just Ty, so I can't remark on the whole salon. But if that kind of diva behavior is tolerated, then that is unacceptable.
