Review content:
I don't get it. Just to make sure, I ate there on 3 different ocassions. I waited a long time to be seated (true the place is small, so it is understandable) and then I ordered coffee and orange juice, then my breakfast, which was the Brigs famous eggs benedict. It was not the eggs benedict that I was used to. It came on a big plate with a mound of shaved smoked ham (whoa), the eggs were poached to a hard boiled consistency and the grits tasted like dirty socks. What did they put in those? How can you mess up grits, I ask? I told the server that I wished for my eggs be lightly poached with a soft yoke and he said that they didn't cook eggs that way there. They basted their eggs. What?! I let it go. Second time visit, I had eggs over easy and they were right. Third visit, I had the breakfast skillet with the poached eggs. Same problem as before and both the server and the manager said that I could not have them the way I wanted them. They basted their eggs. So, I was well done! The Social Light
Pros: Good Coffee, fruit plate and a cold pitcher of lemon water
Cons: Poor customer service. Remember, the customer is alway right!
