Review content:
We love this restaurant and go every now and then. We enjoy many of their appetizers, entries so much. Among all, the ""Kao Pad Thai Villa"" fried rice has always been my favorite, I LOVE the luxury seafood, sweet pianapple and raisin, along with the just right egg fried rice!! That's why I almost always have this dish, no exception last night. \r
Then we figured out that it was kind of different from the usual, mainly the curry flavor---it used to be seasoned WITHOUT curry powder. Moreover, we could even smell the bitterness of some spice(green onion? garlic?) over burned. We asked the waitress and she insisted that it was the dish. She was kind enough to go inside to ask the owner, later we learned that the owner was the chef at this night. She came back with the same answer, then another waitress came and tried to help us cancel or replace with other dish, but got rejected from the owner. I would understand if they told us that they just changed the seasoning recently, but I was 100% sure that this was just not what I had before! Finally, the second waitress came and took the dishes(we even order 2!), she just told us that it's ok if we just canceled them. But, not until check out, we was told by the first waitress that she was gonna pay for that and she was not too happy obviously. I really, really feel so sorry for the waitress, but I feel even more shocked how the owner(is this the nice lady everybody mentioned?) handeled customers' complaint. It seems that we can do nothing. \r
Sincerely, we love the food there, but I am not sure we will be back.
