Review content:
What a disappointing experience. \r \r Shun Lee Palace was over half empty the night we visited for the first (and last) time - it was not a busy night. Still, we were given the table next to the front door and adjacent to a noisy waiter station. I very politely complained about the table, and they refused to move us. \r \r We were dressed more properly than 90% of the other people in the restaurant and we were respectful of the staff in every way, yet we still had the worst table and the worst service in the restaurant.\r \r Waiters did not refill our tea or water, and we had to hunt down a manager to finally get a check when it was time to leave.\r \r The decor was tacky and the food was strictly average. This was a crime given the premium pricing of the restaurant.\r \r There are other high-end Chinese restaurants with perfect service and spectacular food in the neighborhood - one is only a few blocks away from Shun Lee Palace, and that's where we will be going next time. We won't be back here again. Pros: The pressed duck was the best thing we ate, but that's not saying much. Cons: Extremely poor service
