I started coming to Dop Dop a year ago on a recommendation and couldn't be happier. I go to Holly, and she's the full package when it comes to a stylist - she takes my suggestions and concerns about my hair and then adds her professional insight as to what I can do without pressuring me into totally changing my look. The end result is always better than I expected. She also mitigates the price of a cut by offering free baang trims to freshen up your look in between cuts. The assistants and stylists have a great rapport, the music and decor is fun and original, and it's very obvious that everyone there enjoys what they do. They offer highly personalized attention by using products specifically taylored to what your hair needs that day. If only I could do my hair as well as Holly my life would be complete!
Pros: Great service and ambience
Cons: A bit pricey, but this is NYC so what can you do
