On Sat 12/6/08 I asked the female clerk about any special discounts on the Omega GMT 300. She quoted me the standard 15% off. However, there is a recession on and every store is offering deep discounts. When I mentioned that Macy?s was offering a 20% discount plus 11% discount for that weekend, and asked her if she could ?come near that discount? she sharply closed the counter book, snapped at me saying ?I can?t help you?, and walked away from the counter. Very rude.\r \r At a time when mom&pop stores need the selling, this is no way to treat, let alone, negotiate with a customer eager to give them the business. Have no choice but to buy the watch from Macy?s now. Even though I was willing to settle on a discount of 20-30%, just to help a local business. Pros: Convenient location Cons: NO real discounts, rude sales people
