Businiess name:  Verona Italian Restaurant

Review content:
Our first and only visit to Verona was a severe disappointment considering the reviews we've received from friends, but that's only the beginning. We had reservations and were not surprised that the facility was packed to the rafters with patrons based on recommendations, but we were not seated for nearly 20 minutes and forced to stand in a very small entrance with a half dozen other people. After seating it was noticed that the tablecloth was dirty and the place settings were incomplete. The feeling of being rushed starts now. Everything is done at high speed and the assembly line mentality carries over to the whole experience.\r \r That aside, I was hopeful about the cuisine. Sadly, it was false hope. As a lifetime Italian food aficionado, I've rarely had a worse meal in Tucson or elsewhere. Lasagna and cannelloni were both mealy, sweet, and thin. I hardly finished half and at $20 a plate that's a stretch. Waitstaff were curt, drinks were adequate, prices were astronomical for the area of town and production quality. It was the first and last time we'll visit. I strongly suggest you take your Italian appetite elsewhere. Pros: Close to home Cons: Prices, wait, terrible food
