I do not have alot of experience with repair/ service shops in the US (and the experinces I have had are grim - cocky, arrogant staff who make you feel like you are being ripped off).. The guys at Blazer don't try to charm you but they certainly are knowlegable about all thing VW/ Audi.. I shopped around to see how much my timing belt replacement on my 99 Passat would cost (a big job) and their quote was about $750, the cheapest in a range that topped out at $1100! The quote also matched the final price. They gave me a list of things that could be done and recommended which ones were necessary and which were not (the most expensive one was actually not necessary.) However, if you want a nice clean waiting room and are prepared to pay for it, then you should go elsewhere! This place is old skool and knows it!! Enjoy.
