I'm sorry to say this YMCA in New Rochelle is a ""Dump"" if you compare it to any other Y in America, its filthy dirty (inside as well as outside), broken exersise equipment that never gets fixed, permanately cracked mirrors, ripped cushions, a leaky roof with water on the basketball court when it rains, ripped & missing basketball nets, a broken water fountain in the main corridor for over 5 years now, bad supervision of kids, sex preditors that have walked past the front desk to violate the woman in the showers, bad manegement of the faciliies pool & basketball court & limited hours of operation ( Sun hrs: 10am- 2pm ), I believe it all boils down to how the Director Jeff Kraus ran that place which was like a cheap skate!!, who really doesn't seem to care much about the quality but cares only about the enrollment numbers,..It really is a shame because.this Y has the potential to be so much better.
