Review content:
For too many years now I've considered my hair to be a frustrating less-than-perfect maze of dead-ends at every corner, rather than a source of inspiration, or outlet for expression, which I know deep down it deserves to be. I instinctively knew I should shave it all off and start over. Janelle buzzed it to the scalp for me, and it was sincerely the smartest haircut I've ever had. Anyone could have done it, but not anyone would have had as much fun doing it or given such a sensational head massage while shampooing me as Janelle did. I remember talking to another hairstylist about shaving my head a few years ago: the particular stylist gave stupid warnings of regret. Janelle has balls, and wants you to love your hair. That's what it's about: not her pride or her work, not her style, but about you loving your head. But she has serious, serious talent. This isn't just some gig to her, to scrape in some money in during her 20s- she'll probably be ever-perfecting the art of cuttin' hair for many a decade.
I recently had my first session with Janelle since shaving my head, and now I have an awesome, very tailored 1920s flapper/Spock cut that only someone who knows the tools in their box could have perfected. No doubt this rad-ass chick will be cutting Milla Jovich's hair before too long.
