This corporation is not customer service oriented! They are out to get your money buy selling you CHEAP shoes! I received a pair of shoes as a gift. Unfortunately the shoes were too small. So, instead of returning the shoes to the original store, I went to a different one closer to my work. I provided a gift receipt and the cashier was unable to pull the transaction up in their system. The cashier attempted to make contact with the District Manager numerous times to determine what she should do. The District Manager never returned her calls/texts. The store manager of the store I was in (her name is Anaccini & she's very nice & helpful) contacted the store the shoes were purchased from in order to determine what the price at the time of purchase was. The original store took a long time to find the orignial receipt and was then running into problems in faxing the receipt, faxing the wrong receipt, and the toner running out. Over one hour later, the receipt arrived. Due to Cathy Jean's TERRIBLE store policies, I not only was unable to return a pair of shoes I have never worn and do not fit me, but I could not even exchange them because they were considered a ""final sale."" Upon asking for the District Managers phone number, I was told that they are unable to give out this information. This establishment is a JOKE! The quality of the shoes is apparent but the quality of their customer service is even more ridiculous. I intend to write an email to the company but do not expect a response. I encourage you not to shop at any of these Cathy Jean stores & will encourage everyone I know not to either. Steve Madden, Charles David, & Aldo are definitely a better bet if you're looking to buy trendy cute shoes. You pay for what you get. I felt very sorry for the customers who made purchases as I waited today. I hope that Myrna & Anaccini find better jobs where they won't have to work for companies who are too cheap to purchase a phone line and use the fax for all store calls. TACKY! If anyone is looking for a sales manager & sales girl with FANTASTIC customer service, & huge potential, go take them from Cathy Jean. They deserve better! \r
