I can understand a West-coast take on Cajun/Creole-inspired dishes, but one thing that got lost in translation is the spice. The Jumbalaya was a souless mix of ingredients in a weak tomato base. It came with a pint-sized little bottle of tabasco for the dish - even that was not enough to wake up the flavors. Everything served was under seasoned, actually.
Service at both the bar and the restaurant was very good, and the hostess worked magic accomodating our group. Too bad the kitchen couldn't keep up its end of the bargain.
Pros: Nice interior, good service, good biscuits
Cons: Bland food
