Review content:
This clinic was great; I used them for boarding initially and eventually for all my veterinary needs. The previous owner (who apparently sold the business) was a very nice person and clearly cared about his patients. But now it seems like the new owners are feeling jealous or inadequate to the previous owner because they will take advantage of any opportunity to attempt to make the prior owner appear as if he were a poor veterinarian. I was talking to someone while at the pet section in the grocery store, and after learning that they also had gone to Valley Central in the past, I was told that they too have experienced an unusual level of what appeared to be jealousy to the prior vet. They were told he never made any notes about their pet, but they didn't tell the individual that they had observed the dr. writing notations in their dogs record numerous times, and had even given them a copy of their records to take when they thought they were going to be living in Atlanta the previous year. It just makes me distrust the new owners, especially when the previous vet told me prior to selling that he trusted the new owner and that he not only respected him as a vet but also thought he was a good person. I doubt he would feel the same way if he knew how his name was being treated in his absence. Overall, the clinic is OK, but in the absence of the old owners, its not exceptional.
Pros: location, large play area
Cons: parking, general attitude
