Review content:
I had several opportunities to visit the quaint little town of Audubon to dine at Alphabet Soup. Not knowing what to expect of the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that besides wonderful soup, there was Lamb, salmon, bass, prime steak, scallops, risotto, foie gras, fresh baked cookies and so much more!!!! Apparently the restaurant could not survive in the sleepy but pretty little town and the owner decided to close for a bit, work on some other projects and retool the menu. Now it is opening very soon I hear from a friend and the menu will offer more less expensive options (although for a byob I never thought it was pricey). More items on the menu and less expensive in reaction to these trying times. Now a night out is even more affordable. I had the pleasure of planning a family event there and I look forward to the next time!!
Pros: Hands on chef, inventive menu, easy parking, BYOB
Cons: Small restaurant sometimes hard to get a seat without a reservation
