First visit to Bacio Salon, Kristina cut my hair, was very satisfied with the haircut. After my second visit with Kristina I received a phone call from the salon several days later stating Kristina was no longer employed there and provided another hair stylist for my next appointment. Due to the fact that I experienced two successful visits at the salon I felt this new hair stylist would be proficient also. After arriving at the salon I met with the new hair stylist, who spoke with what I thought a fairly good knowledge regarding hair styling. I requested a haircut (same style) and partial highlights. My hair is dyed an auburn color. The stylist put the highlights in my hair. After a period of time she removed the foils from my hair and stated that the color of the highlights was not right and needed to put a “glaze “on my hair to correct it. I never saw what color my hair was at this time. She stated it would be on my hair approximately 15 minutes. After 25 minutes I asked another staff person where the stylist was as she had not come back after 15 min. Another 5 min. went by then the stylist appeared. She removed the foils, rinsed my hair and proceeded to cut my hair. When she was finished (total of three hours later) I was concerned as I did not really see highlights but as I had been in her chair THREE HOURS and the lighting was not great in this salon I did not speak up. When I went to pay, I was charged $30 more than what I was initially quoted. At this point I was very concerned. I went home I spoke with the family they assured me there was no highlights in my hair. I called back to this salon and stated I was not satisfied with receiving no highlights. The next day the owner of the salon called me. After several phone calls back and forth she stated she would see me on Monday at 4:45 PM and would assess my hair and correct it. I was also informed that I was charged for the “glase”, a problem made by an inexperienced stylist. I arrived on Monday at the time designated by owner. The owner came up to me and stated she had to do a quick cut of a customer's bangs and would be right with me. After 20 min. and observing the owner was actually giving this customer a full haircut I decided that Bacio Salon was a complete scam and their owner was their head cheerleader. I got up and left. I've read reviews on the salon and most of them are from 2011 with one or two in 2012. Thus I can only surmise that Bacio Salon is spiraling downward. If you want to be a high end salon, i.e. charge like one, you need staff that are aware of the limitation of their skills and not be chasing the dollar at cost of your customers and management who are going to stand behind their product and provide customer satisfaction. BEWARE!!
