Its difficult to put into words just how bad Experience One Homes really is. Their problems span the spectrum of customer service, construction, quality, attention to detail and finally warranty support. From the inception of my relationship with this business I have been unhappy and dissatisfied with most of what they have done. Allow me to provide a couple examples. (1) On several occasions during the building process I found them using bad judgment and improper methods. When I brought this to their attention they responded with long lectures, discourteous and a general unwillingness to correct the problems. (2) Most of the drywall work in sub-optimal. For a house that is overpriced to being with because it is supposed to be highly detailed you would expect the interior work to be great. However every room in the house has problems and when I brought them to the companies attention they were ignored and not repaired. (3) During construction there were dozens of inconsistencies. For example the sub flooring is supposed to be ""screwed, glued and nailed"" to the floor beams. However the sub-contractor hired to do the nailing came on a day when large quantities of drywall and plywood were sitting on the floor and did not move those materials to continue his work. In the end many areas were not properly affixed. (4) Since the house has been completed warranty issues have been even more of a nightmare. The builder refuses to complete basic work that is clearly covered under warranty. All told I would NEVER recommend using this company. If fact if it were within my power I would have the state revoke their license and ban them from working here. However since I do not have that power I can only provide this warning!!!
