This is possibly the best (or worst) kept secret in New Orleans. It's best known for its french bread, baked fresh 3X day, but it also has things like shoe soles, croissants (plain or with fillings) and other french goodies. They've also got the simplest, best king cakes in the city. Very light, no heavy icing, always baked fresh that day...they never claim anything is fresh unless it came out of the oven that day. Pros: Inexpensive, Great taste, Always fresh
